Program

Satellite session topics supported the overall goals and vision of IMNHC 2023, centering around the experiences and voices of people living and working in low- and middle-income countries, and addressing major causes of and contributors to maternal and newborn mortality. The satellite format lent itself well to technical consultation and exchange, such as operationalizing new guidelines, as well as capacity-building sessions around critical topics such as manuscript writing, advocacy, human centered design, etc. Other illustrative examples of satellite session topics included highlighting successful approaches or socializing an agenda for MNH research.
