Submission Guidance
Please be prepared to provide the following information during the submission process:
- Main point of contact: Name, title, organizational affiliation, email address and WhatsApp number
- Secondary point of contact: Name, title, organizational affiliation, email address and WhatsApp number
- Session title:
- Session type [Choose 1]: Launches and Announcements, Fail Forward, Critical Conversations, Multimedia Showcase, Knowledge Cafe, Storytelling Showcase
- Session objectives: Please list 3-4 objectives, keeping a focus on what participants will take away from the session for action following the conference
- Description of the session: Describe the content of the session you are proposing, as well as any background to give context to the main purpose of the session. Include any information on making the session interactive
- Rationale: Briefly describe the reasons your session should be included in the conference programming, including how it will support the overall vision and goals of the IMNHC
- Draft agenda: Include a draft agenda of how time will be structured (including any planned interactive elements, which are highly encouraged)
- Speakers: Please list proposed speaker names, organizational affiliation, and country, including a moderator if relevant
- Key technical resources: Please list any key resources the session will reference, including new reports, planned multimedia, or other materials
- Session duration [Choose 1]: 45, 60, or 75 minutes. Please also indicate if you are flexible on the duration selected
- Desired meeting space: Please describe any special requirements for the space and space set-up, including audiovisual needs, tables, etc.
Selection Criteria
Prospective presenters should consider the following questions, which will contribute to the selection process:
- How well do the objectives relate to the conference theme?
- How clear and logical are the objectives?
- How concrete and actionable are the session activities?
- How interactive will the session be?
- How important and impactful is the topic proposed?
- How diverse are the presenters (e.g. geography, age, gender)?
- Is more than one individual and/or organization listed as the session organizer?
- Does the session include varying perspectives, experiences and voices?
